As well as True WDR, motorised remote set up lens, IR illumination, alarms, audio, Micro SD card edge storage and PoE, the camera has a "Hi-Stream" function. This offers static and dynamic Regions of Interest (ROI) within the VK2-2MPXBIR28V12M bullet set up. This function allows the camera to continually analyse the scene, adding more compression to areas of low interest with no motion whilst applying lower levels of compression to areas where motion is present, as a result showing higher definition in these areas. This means that lower bandwidth is required for transmission and less storage is required on the NVR.
The wide ranging 2.8-12mm motorised lens can be remotely adjusted to give the optimal angle of view, making it a simple one person installation.
