The VK2-2MPXVRDIR37 2MP IP66 vandal dome packs an impressive level of features and functionality into its robust but aesthetically designed housing. The dome can deliver up to 4 streams in multiple formats including H264, MJPEG and the latest H265 technology reduces the levels of bandwidth and storage required by the recording solution.

As well as True WDR, motorised remote set up lens, IR illumination, alarms, audio, Micro SD card edge storage and PoE, the camera has a “Hi-Stream” function. This offers static and dynamic Regions of Interest (ROI) within the VK2-2MPXVRDIR37 dome set up. This function allows the camera to continually analyse the scene, adding more compression to areas of low interest with no motion whilst applying lower levels of compression to areas where motion is present, as a result showing higher definition in these areas. This means that lower bandwidth is required for transmission and less storage is required on the NVR.

The wide angle 3.7mm lens combined with the full HD resolution also allows large areas to be covered in detail.

The VK2-2MPXVRDIR37 dome is designed to fit with a range of different bracket solutions, including the DJBW external junction box and VCW-EWMB wall bracket, making it a versatile solution for the installer.

The VK2-2MPXVRDIR37 is ideal for use with the Vista Viper range of NVRs. ONVIF compliance also ensures it can be used on multiple manufacturers’ recording platforms.
