The Surface mount brush seals are ideal in a situation where the In-Floor brush seal isnt practical due to an irregular floor cut out shape. The surface mount brush seal can be fitted straight over the cut-out using the supplied self-drilling screws, and can be cut to size if needed using simple hand tools to cut the brush strip and ABS plastic frame. Using XtraSeal technology, the Surface Mount Brush Seal incorporates a thin flexible membrane (EPDM) to provide an almost impenetrable air barrier.
